Sabrina

Her experience of the books and the MBC approach

After three years of chronic sciatica, a hospital stay in a back rehabilitation programme and a fibromyalgia diagnosis, I had tried everything: physiotherapy, shockwave therapy, TECAR therapy, acupuncture…

Then I discovered Lili, her books and her MBC method. I began the workshops, writing, somatic tracking, meditation and, gently, yoga.

Little by little, my pain eased, and I was able to return to work, adapted exercise, watercolour painting and even playing the guitar. The pain sometimes returns with stress, but Lili has given me hope of a pain-free life in the coming months. Her book is a real gem.

Truly, thank you, Lili.

Patient and reader

Knowledge is power.
And Lili Road understands that very well! I loved having explanations about how I work, helping me understand that my brain is making a mistake when it sends the pain message: it is simply trying to protect me!

From there, we were able to put actions in place to reconnect me with my body and take back control! And that makes all the difference after feeling powerless for so many years!

Thank you, Lili.

An excerpt from his story

When Lili asked me to write a testimonial, I replied, “What are the guidelines for this testimonial?” After a conversation, I reached one conclusion: freedom. So, free from constraints, I set out to put the indescribable into words. It is a difficult exercise, finding the words for what I felt…

Hello, just a quick message to say another huge thank you for yesterday’s session. I’m happy to tell you that the black ball in the middle of my back hasn’t returned, and I’m going to do everything I can to keep it from coming back. Looking forward to another session.

Reader feedback

“And first of all, an enormous thank you for your book, which is exceptionally rich in content! What work, you are impressive! I’ve read tons of books on pain and watched tons of videos, but your book speaks to me so much. It’s exactly what I’ve been living with (chronic neck pain and TSM) for about 10 years. So thank you, I feel less alone.

[…] Your book is a goldmine, be assured of that… I’m moving forward with patience and I talk to my brain! Thank you for everything.”

Justine R.

Reader feedback

“Your book is going to help so many people, I’m convinced of it! I feel so much empathy for everything you’ve been through. And I recognized myself in your words and your pain. I too have suffered enormously and felt misunderstood, alone, discouraged and lost…

There are still too many people who think they are condemned to suffer when there are solutions.

Your book will give people hope! Congratulations again!”

Mariem T.

Reader feedback

“I’ve started reading your book, and for me this is more than an encounter: I would call it synchronicity.

I meet you at the beginning of my healing process, after a period I could call the dark night of the soul… So your story will accompany me for a while. It inspires me and resonates with me, as you say…”

Elodie T

Reader feedback

“I’m on page 110 and I really feel as though I’m the one telling the story… I have the same pain as you, in the same place… normal MRI, blood tests… nothing physical… I’m engrossed in your book and can’t wait to discover what comes next.”

Thierry D.

Feedback on the method

I’m going to start your method. I’m looking for a lovely notebook… but everything I’ve read so far is already helping me a lot! I’ve already read a great deal about chronic pain, and I have to say your method brings so much together.

The influence of traumatic experiences is undeniable.

It makes it more motivating to get started and take charge.

Thank you again for all this work.

Reading and meeting the author

“An illuminating book rooted in the author’s lived experience of suffering. A touching, plain-speaking woman who dares… without ever resorting to pathos to share her experiences, feelings, fears, hopes and joys. I liked her simple writing.

So human, with her ability to use humour even in unbearable circumstances, and above all her incredible mental strength. A courageous, resilient, determined woman, she shows us that everything, or almost everything, is possible. I was fortunate to meet this generous-hearted, endearing author, and I appreciated the encounter so much. Lili, I was lucky to meet you. Thank you for your book and everything it conveys; thank you for who you are.

Looking forward to the next book, which surely won’t be long…”

I’m continuing with your encouraging words. That is what I appreciate in the book: when you speak directly to us, telling us that you know because you’ve been through it yourself… ahhh, it feels so good to feel less alone and understood!

Warm wishes.

The 45-day programme

“I am currently following the 45-day programme presented in your book Bye Bye Douleurs Chroniques!, and first of all I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this magnificent work.

Your approach is deeply inspiring and liberating. It allows me to approach my chronic pain with a fresh perspective, even in the case of pain of structural origin, such as my grade 4 chondropathy in both knees […]”

Lili had managed to open the surgeon’s eyes: the art of medicine had healing virtues, but Art could become its ally.

Then I was delighted by the testimony I could offer.
